Spur of the moment outings are the best! They offer a mix of fun, adventure and amusement; and when they involve good food, drink and conversation, they’re easily kicked up another notch!
Sunday, my friend Chevone and I ventured to the Tamarind Club to fill our bellies with fruity Mimosas and generous mounds of traditional breakfast fare that included eggs, sausage, omelets, beans and potato wedges. We shared a delicious bowl of creamy, hearty fish chowder with lumps of mahi mahi, chopped celery and onions (think Boston Clam Chowder) followed by our egg selections that included juicy slices of chorizo mixed with onions, black beans, red peppers and provolone cheese for moi, while Chev treated herself to an appetizing portion of eggs sunny-side up, baked beans and sausage links.
Mouthwatering selections fill the menu, which changes weekly. Generally, you will always be able to choose from a cool mix of savory and sweet fare, Caribbean infused bites and comforting cocktails to put a nice lull in your day of leisure.
